From 2001 to 2006, he served as head of the French chemical analysis laboratory (designated by the OPCW) at DGA's Centre d'études du Bouchet (CEB, now "DGA CBRN defense"), and became in 2003 Head of the Chemistry division of the CEB
He has been in charge of procurement of CBRN defence equipment in French DGA for 4 years, including management of the DETECBIO program, but also covering all aspects of CBRN defence. He ranks as Colonel in the French Armament engineers corps.
