CBRNe South America
13-14 March 2012, Sheraton Hotel and Resort, Leblon, Rio De Janeiro

DELEGATE AND EXHIBITOR BOOKING NOW LIVE!
South America has had to deal with a major narcotics and criminal threat for decades - with all the conventional attacks that that brings - but CBRN is still a new idea there. Lacking the lens of the Cold War to look through how do they view CBRN issues, what do they see as the threat and how have they prepared for it?
While South America has previously been lucky enough to avoid the CBRN threat, the threat is now coming to it - with Brazil hosting the World Military Games in 2011, the FIFA World Cup in 2014 and the Olympics in 2016 - it can no longer be ignored.
A host of expert speakers from outside the region will be joined by experts from Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Argentina, to discuss the all hazards threat - CBRN, Narcotics, IEDs and hazmat. This will be THE major conference in the region, a landmark in the region that will set the agenda for the next ten years.
Hosted in Rio, which will be one of the host cities for the major sporting events, this two day conference and exhibition will be a chance to learn about the plans for the region and also a chance to meet delegates from around the world.
Held in the Rio Sheraton, just metres away from the famous Ipanema Beach, this is a chance to meet all the players in the region and understand their challenges and solutions.
